Writer's Block

Well... I better write something in this blog if I'm going to link it to Blogskins forum.  Of course, the whole idea of writer's block is that you don't have anything to say, right?

Actually I have quite a few essays and columns in the works. The problem is that I've been away from my computer for the past two and a half months.  If you're interested, that topic is covered in the Dear Friends blog.

My sister bought a new cell phone before we went to Florida.  It was really cool being able to get on the Internet with a cellphone, but I definitely like typing better.  I sent a message to the Alaska Living Group and it took me about an hour to type one sentence.  I couldn't log into Blogger, and I had to use the search engines to get to my web site.  If I typed in the URL, I got a file not found error.

I've been thinking of getting a palm pilot now.  I saw a keyboard that hooks up to a palm pilot in a Staples Store in Tampa, Florida.  I bought a laptop case with wheels at that store.  Now all I need is a laptop to put in it.
