Nightmare and Grudges
I had a nightmare about someone killing people and then dragging them into a cave. The whole time that I am dreaming, I am thinking, "Turn off the tv". But the tv is not on in my bedroom, just in my head.
I had to examine myself to see if I'm holding a grudge. Am I? My first response would be, "No." But thinking about it, I'd have to admit yes.
I hold a grudge against all the people in my life who've disappointed me. That's the first time that I've actually decide which word fits for this, "disappointed."
Once a person disappoints me or doesn't live up to my expectations then I'm ready to distance myself from them. I don't want to be hurt by them any longer.
