The morning of our anniversary I showed him this page, and he smiled as he read it.  When he got to the part about the chocolates, he laughed out loud.  After that he whisked me off for a weekend at the brand new Fairbanks Marriot Spring Hill Sweets.  Keith made me a hand-crafted wooden jewelry box.  I got him a wooden tool box to keep his woodworking tools in.

The restaurant at the Spring Hill Suites has gourmet food and the largest selection of fine wines that I've ever seen in Alaska.  The hotel has a swimming pool and an exercise room.  The suite is a small apartment with a kitchenette and a sitting area.  The television has cable and webtv.  We had delicious meals at the restaurant and dessert in our room.  The whole weekend had the feeling that we were in Anchorage, but on Monday morning when we checked out, we only had a few miles to drive home.
