to March in Fairbanks, Alaska
 line

By the first of March, the days are pleasant.  The snow is still on the ground but it's not as deep as it was.  The sun is melting the snow on the paved areas. The snow graders busily push the snow berms away from the edge of the highway.

Usually the low temperature rises above freezing for the first time in months, but this year we've had unseasonably warm weather.  In the meantime, the midwest and the east coast is having snowstorms while Fairbanks basks in the winter sun.

Due to unseasonably warm weather, we need freezers to save our snowman!  If you have empty freezer space, please contact me asap!
