Keith loves playing with Brendon. I don't think Brendon minds it much either because he cries when Keith leaves the room.
I was trying to convince Keith to fly down to Indiana for the auction of Carol's house. I don't think he will, though, because he is too busy at work to leave right now, and besides that, he is taking off 4th July weekend for our trip to Anchorage.
I'm sweltering in the heat up here. Even with the drapes shut, the house heats up to 90 degrees.
Brendon spent the weekend with us. Sunday morning, he figured out that if he yelled, "Heh", the sound echoes off the tall ceiling. He also knows how to say, "ahhh", and bounce his hand against his mouth to make sounds like an Indian. Now the whole congregation knows he can do it. He loves to clap, but when it was time to clap after the guest speaker concluded, he just stared at everyone else clapping.
Ginnie, one of Daryl's twins, and Tim have a baby boy named Cade. He weighed exactly 6 pounds, too. Pam came by to pick up Brendon. So she got to meet Daryl, Vickie, Tim, Ginnie, and Cade. She also met Joe, Bess's husband.
Pam is thinking about going with us to Anchorage. When we were going to California for Brendon's surgery, she has also met Keith's Mom's sister, Cora, her daughter, Patty, her daughter, Michelle, Michelle's husband, Mike, and Patty's husband, John. So Pam won't feel like she doesn't know anyone when we get there. Cora, Patty, and John flew out on the same flight that we did because Patty was having surgery in Seattle.
We are staying at the Mush Inn again. It's the only place we can afford this time of year. We will be driving down on Thursday and back on Monday. Todd will be here to watch the house.
I finally got my tooth taken care of. The dentist did the final filling yesterday. It doesn't hurt anymore, but when I drink something, it fills like the liquid is going down a shoot under my tooth.
Yesterday, I was thinking about the hummingbirds in Indiana. I imagine they are drinking lots of red juice. Or is all that rain you are getting chasing the birds away?
love ya'll,
Pamela
