Spontaneity Squelched

I am depressed about my website right now.  I have used up my 50 megabytes and then some.  I had to delete some of Brendon's photos and the wallpapers because I had went 2 MB over my limit.  Then I could not add anything to any pages or blogs until I deleted enough to get under the limit.  The fastest way was to remove photos since they are the largest files.

However, the depressing part is that now I cannot just add anything I want to the site.  That really stifles my spontaneity.  When I get an inspiration, I want to immediately see it online.  Now I have to stop and figure out what to delete so I can have it.  *groan*

Over Limit

I'm sorta bummed right now... I went over limit on my site, and I had to take off some stuff.  Now I don't know whether to buy more space, or trim down my site.

Adoptions, dentist, and site offline schedule

Activities are hopping at pamelajoy.com.  Two new domains are being set up; we have a new blog for updating the Fairbanks Diary.  In addtion to the new content, the whole site is now hosted on a new server.  The move has been a big project, and there are still tweaks here and there to be made.

Tuesday this site is schedule to be offline for 48 hours.  The mirror site is http://www.angelfire.com/ak/faith7/.  Further updates to the blogs and diaries will be made in that location until the site goes back online.

Adoptions  You have not been forgotten.  If you've applied for an adoption, please be patient.  The adoptions are sent out in groups.  Yours will come up soon.  If you wonder if your request has been lost, you can send again.  However, my e-mail form has been reliable, and I believe I have all the requests.

Brendon and Pam are staying in Healy with Todd.  I'm trying to use this time to catch up before my little darling gets back.

Also on Tuesday, I have the dentist appointment.  I don't expect to come home with pain, but you never know.  I'm scheduled for a cleaning and exam (and probably a lecture about flossing!)... oh, and to glue the inlay back on.

Dentist Appointment

The dentist's office called this morning at 11:30 a.m.

"You have an appointment for a cleaning at 2 p.m. today," said the woman on the phone.

"Excuse me?  My appointment is for the 22nd," I said.

She checked and I was correct.  Apparently the receptionist had given me two cleaning appointments.  Weird.  I could have gone today, but then I would still have had to go again on the 22nd for the exam.

Tooth Doesn't Hurt

I don't see the point in going to the dentist just to have the inlay cemented when I can make an appointment and get my regular exam and cleaning at the same time.  I can chew, eat hot, and drink cold with no pain.  I called the dentist's office and got an appointment for October 22.

Life Savers

Wednesday Keith went to the grocery store after work.  He fussed because the counters were cluttered with dishes, baby bottles, and half-done projects, and he could not set down the groceries.  After he calmed down, I asked,

"Did you buy any candy?" I had a hankering for some chocolate.

"In the bag," he said.

"Is that all?" I said after seeing the Life Savers.  When I am craving chocolate, only chocolate will do.  He took a roll, broke it in half, and gave it to me.

Okay, I thought, "Something sweet is better than nothing at all."  I chomped on a cherry Life Saver, then a lime one and an orange one.

"Yuk, pineapple," I thought as I saw the next one.  I popped it into my mouth and chomped.

"This piece is really hard."  I spit it into my hand.  Candy is sticking to my gold inlay that the dentist cemented in my tooth while I was in Indiana.  At least I did not swallow it.

Two Months Old

Brendon is two months old already.  I've been taking photos of him almost every day.

Sleepy

I seem to be having a problem focusing on more than one thing at a time.  I have so much to do that I don't know where to start.

I hired a teenager, Lydia, to come over last Saturday and help me get caught up with my housework.  She had a busy day, and she was going to squeeze me in between her morning activities and her 4 o'clock saxophone lesson.  I laid down for just a minute, and wouldn't you know it?  I slept right through her visit.  I woke up around 2 p.m. and called her to apologize.
