Spring has finally found it's way to Fairbanks. It was hot yesterday, in
the 60's (above!) The snow is all melted in the lower elevations, although there is still
snow on the hills.
The green buds are popping out all over. Before long we should
have some green leaves.
I remember one trip we took to Seattle in the fall. Fairbanks already had
about a foot of snow. When we were heading to the rental car area at the Sea-Tac
airport, one of our boys stopped short, pointed at a plant, and yelled,
"Green!" I'm sure the other people who heard him wondered about this little boy's sanity, but we
understood.

These are very good photos. One is of his Citabria last month when we had the cold spell with snow.
The other photo is three moose on their knees grazing, and it looks like they are praying.
Hope you are having as beautiful a day as we are.
The weather can't make up it's mind if it's going to be rain or snow. We've had a lot of rain, but then sometimes it snows again. Some people are really getting tired of winter.
I just wish it'd make up its mind. The dreary gray of the trees will soon be green with all this rain. When I look out the kitchen window, I see the buds just popping out on the trees.
So what have I been doing? I've been struggling... but I won't bore you with my problems, just how I cope. I've been spending my waking time playing with graphics. Beautiful art, like the drawings decorating this page, always cheers me, and I've become quite a collector of original graphics. I haven't had much to say, so I haven't written much. Instead I should just show you all the neat pretties that I've seen. But that takes time and energy, the first I have the second I have not.
