I have over 1,000 pages on my site, so I couldn't possibly hope that
you'd look at all of them.
About My Site
You are invited to visit my Welcome page which describes the content and purpose of pamelajoy.com.
Pamela's Graphics
On many pages, I've tried my hand
at making my own graphics.
I don't always put no-right-click
scripts on the graphics that I make for myself. I have no
problem putting it on the pages with your graphics, though. You will notice there is no right click script on this page because I drew these graphics myself.
I created a doll for
adoption because I've received so much
from others, and I want to give something back:
http://pamelajoy.com/dolls/. I also have a few other adoption at Alaska Country Adoptions.
It takes me forever to create a graphic and I really should be
concentrating on my writing.
Your Terms of Use
When I download linkware graphics, I make a new folder for each artist. I
keep a list of the terms in that folder so that I don't forget
the terms of use by the time I finish the web page. A list of
some of the artists I have used on my site is here:
http://pamelajoy.com/pixlinks.html
and here
http://pamelajoy.com/country/graphics/.
I use the no-right click script on all pages where it is requested
by the artist. On older pages, if the artist did not request the script, then I used my own common sense whether to add it or not.
All new linkware graphic pages have the NRC script.
Linkbacks
Of course, there is a linkback on every page, on the same page, as the guest artist's work.
If I do not know who created a graphic, then I don't use it on my web site.
Copyrights
Vikimouse was one of the first graphic artists I met, and she
has trained me well to respect copyrights. My first adoption
was our dear Lani mouse on January 5, 1999.
Blogs
Sometimes I would be using your graphics on my weblogs.
Therefore, I keep the no-right-click script on those pages that contain guest artist's graphics.
I use blogs for pages that I update often because it's so easy (blogs are great for what's new pages!)
When I get a gift graphic or a new adoption, I may post it first in a blog so I can show it off right away. Eventually the gifts and adoptions will have their own page.
Index Page
Sometimes on my index page, I don't use a no-right-click script when I don't have guest graphics. I rarely place graphics from guest artists on the index page because it loads so slowly without any graphics at all. Any graphics that may be placed on the index page will be used in compliance with the creator's terms of use.
I Love Country
I'm collecting my country graphic pages into this new folder
http://pamelajoy.com/country/.
Here are some examples of where I use country graphics in many different areas of my site.
http://pamelajoy.com/ilovecountry.php.
Mary Bears
A good example of using the no-right click script is on the
pages where I adopted Mary's Little Lamb bears even though
I wasn't asked to put the no-right click script when I
adopted them. I think they are just too adorable and
tempting not to put the script.

2,
3,
4, and
5 .
Recently I have begun adding the no-image-toolbar meta tag to my new pages. If the page does not have that metatag, then it is due for updating. I have over 1000 pages on my site, and I will eventually update all of them.
Blind Accessible
I do my best to make my pages handicap accessible, and for those pages that will be read by the blind, I do not use scripts that will crash their screen readers.
