Blueberry Friends

Blueberries grow wild in Alaska.  Every summer friends pick buckets of these tasty treats from the low bushes in open fields and hillsides (with one eye watching for bears who love them, too).  My friend, Margaret, taught me to make jelly, jam, and syrup and how to freeze the berries so that we can make pies and cobblers all winter.
